A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is used during the manufacturing of motor vehicles to help distinguish one car from another. This number contains information about your car including the engine size and optional accessories. The VIN may be requested to help us find which windshield or window is right for your vehicle. The VIN can also be found on a sticker located inside the jam of the driver side door.

Shade bands commonly come in green or blue and they are there to help the driver see better. This may also be called anti-glare. The primary function of this is to prevent glare from the sun while still allowing you to see through the windshield.
